Life
Born on September 24. 1979 in a small town called Foca, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
During his childhood, Muris’s interests were soccer, karate and school of course.
He loved mathematics, chemistry, physics and others nature sciences.
The War started in 1992 when he was attending 6th grade in elementary school,
and that’s when his life changed its path.
He moved with his family from Foca to Sarajevo in April 1992.
Foca was attacked and it wasn’t a safe place for non-serbs.
Sarajevo 1992-1995…
3 years of total horror, no food, no water, no electric power, no gas…
3 years under the siege…people were killed everyday…no safe place…
He stayed at home most of the time, and so he took guitar for the first time…somewhere in 1993.
Mostly self-thought, Muris started to figure out licks from Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Joe Satriani, Chet Atkins, Steve Vai, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Vlatko Stefanovski and many more.
This large variety of styles helped him later to find himself able to play many stuff with comfort.
He discovered his passion for music and guitar immediately … which made him put all the other hobies to side and concetrate on playing the guitar sometimes up to 7 hours per day, for about 4 years
In 1994 he enrolled Music High School in Sarajevo. This formal music education opened his eyes
to see and notice many things which he was playing, but didn’t know the name or meaning.
The building as a musician has begun.
In 1996 he played his first gigs at clubs in Sarajevo.
Starting then and up till now, he has been working with many bends/solo artists from Bosnia and region.
Muris currently lives in Sarajevo, works as a Solo artist, Hired Gun and a member of a bend Pakt5.
He plays gigs, works in studios, gives classes etc.

Music Life
He started with gigs in 1996.First with some acoustic duos, trios and real bands later on.
They played mostly small clubs and some private parties too.
In 1998 he joined his first band called MAELSTROM, mostly alternative orientated.
Band was playing its own material and some covers too. With MAELSTROM Muris had many gigs at clubs and lots of TV show appearances in Bosnia.
But members had different view of life so band stopped working 2 years after.
During his work with MAESTROM, Muris did first studio guitar tracks
for couple demo bands and solo artists from Sarajevo.
He also did concert with Hari Mata Hari in Olympic Hall Skenderija but as a background vocal.
In 2000 Muris formed his own band and named it PULS.
Tunes he made for PULS were prog-rock kind a style but soft ballad as well.
They played a lot in Bosnia and won 2 prices on a Heineken Music Festival in Zenica, August 2001.
Band also had many radio plays and public critics were quite good and positive.
Along with PULS, Muris continues to work as a studio guitarist and musicians.
He also wrote, arranged and produced few songs for some independent artists from Bosnia,
Pop star Dino Merlin hired him to do a promo concert and a TV show for his upcoming
album “Sredinom”.
In 2001 he was asked to join TIFA – Band, the biggest Bosnian rock star.
Muris played and toured with Tifa around Bosnia, region and Europe as well.
All venues, from 1.000 to 10.000 people audience.
Had many concert reviews, TV show appearances and interviews.
In that time Muris worked a lot as a studio guitarist, few name to list:
Tifa, Rizzo Ruza, Dado, Emano, Zerina Cokoja, Nives Celzius, soundtrack for the movie “Gori Vatra” etc.
After few years working with Tifa, somewhere in 2003-2004, guys from the band decided to
work alone as a cover band and “on stage” band too.
This was TONIGHT SHOW BAND.
They played many club gigs, big venues and TV shows alone, but also as a “on stage” band for many
Stars from Bosnia and region like:
Tifa, Hari Varesanovic, Drazen Zeric, Nermin Puskar, Marija Husar, Igor Vukojevic,
Sabahudin Kurt and many more.
Muris also did TV show with Dado Topic and show-tribute with Indexi and Massimo Savic.
In a mean while, he continues his studio work with:
Amel Curic, Kice, Rizzo Ruza, Dado, Don Almir and some others.
In 2006 band had changed its name into PAKT 5 and recorded few singles.
Band also continues to work as cover and “on stage” band.
Meanwhile, Muris started recording his own album, based on many styles, fusion like.
Album “Let It Out” was self released in March 2007.
Regarding to this, Muris got his first endorsements with
Stan Hinesley Pickups , Has-Sound and The Light Pick .
